A graduate of McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago, Steve is ordained in the PC(USA). Following seminary he did clinical training at the Pastoral Counseling Center of Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL and the Family Therapy Training Institute at Family Services in Milwaukee. He later trained as an Imago couples' therapist.
A Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, Fellow in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors (AAPC), Steve is licensed in WI as a marriage and family therapist. Steve works with individuals and couples addressing a wide variety of issues, integrating their faith & spirituality into the healing process. He is the clinic director of PCS. Dan is the founding director The Pastoral Counseling Service.Dan is a United Church of Christ clergyman who is licensed by the State of Wisconsin as a Marriage and Family Therapist. He holds Fellow standing in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and is a Clinical Member in The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. He received his Doctor of Ministry degree in Pastoral Psychotherapy from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago and did his clinical training at The Center for Religion and Psychotherapy of Chicago. Cynthia is a certified clinical member of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, certified Community Reinforcement approach counselor for adolescents and addictions, Adolescent Therapy Expert and an adjunct faculty member at International Career Institute in Chicago.
She is extensively trained in art psychotherapy, dissociative disorders and spiritual direction.
Currently she is enrolled in a Doctorate of Ministry in Pastoral and Spiritual Care at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. Trained in multicultural environment in Texas and Illinois, she is interested in how neuropsychology enhances the holistic understanding of healing and spirituality. She has authored a journal for adolescents titled "Dream Journal" and received honorable mention for her work in art therapy and incest survivors facilitated by Dr. Francis Anderson at Illinois State University. Cynthia has been in practice for the past 25 years and specializes in Family Systems in conjunction with the previously mentioned specialties. She presents workshops on various topics and enjoys individual, family, adolescent and group therapy. Susan Hammond, Clinic Administrator
Susan has worked in psychology, education and church/religious environments throughout her professional career. Her educational background is in Liberal Arts. She has previous experience as an Admissions/Assessment Specialist at a psychiatric facility, and Office Manager at an outpatient clinic.
Outside of work, Sue is an active volunteer at church, school, area hospitals and retirement/assisted living homes. She enjoys watching sporting events, swimming, crafts, and home improvement projects. In her spare time she is a Birth Doula. |
